Description

We are now looking for a property technician for the Internal Service unit in the Southern Archipelago! Together with your colleagues, you will perform various technical tasks for municipal administrations and companies operating in the Southern Archipelago.

Internal Service has its base (with office space, storage, etc.) on Styrsö, but you will also perform work on several of the archipelago's other islands such as Donsö, Vrångö, Asperö, and Brännö. You will reach these locations using the unit's workboat.

Responsibilities

Internal Service has overall responsibility for facility and property maintenance in the archipelago. As a property technician with us, you will perform preventive, corrective, and more urgent maintenance on municipal properties and facilities. The work is very varied and involves a lot of contact with people. You will contribute to ensuring that other municipal clients in the archipelago receive good service and help solve various problems.

Your duties also include park and landscaping work. This includes minor construction work, mowing lawns, weeding, and pruning trees and bushes. You will also be responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of beaches, roads, and docks. The work also involves maintenance, daily upkeep, and minor repairs of machines, playground equipment, and fences. You will use tools such as hand tools, machines, and vehicles. The assignment also includes some internal transportation by boat, truck, and golf cart.

In your work, you will use personnel systems and various property systems and communicate via email with your manager, coordinator, and colleagues.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has completed high school and has a B driver's license. You have vocational training and/or previous experience that the employer considers relevant. You have completed the ship officer class 8 training or have good maritime skills that facilitate passing such training in the near future. You also have basic IT skills to handle smartphones and computers.

Experience in green space maintenance, hot work, and/or a license for chainsaw and brush cutter is an advantage for the position. It is also advantageous if you have completed lift training or other relevant training for the position and its tasks.

Since the job requires good collaboration with colleagues and clients, you need to have a good ability to cooperate. You can work both in a team and independently to solve the tasks at hand. As a person, you have a positive attitude towards learning new things, you are structured, and you have a good ability to plan and execute tasks across various areas.
